General Rules
1. Eligibility
Who Can Join : Everyone is welcome!
Team Size : Up to 4 members per team.
Size Limit : Your Pookkalam must fit within a 5 ft. square frame. Designs
extending beyond the boundary will not be considered.
Theme : Bring the given theme to life in your design — creativity within
the theme is encouraged.
Time Limit : Complete your Pookkalam within the allotted time to qualify for
judging.
Materials : Use only fresh, natural flowers. Artificial flowers, synthetic
materials or flowers or materials with added colors will lead to disqualification.
Judging : The decision of our esteemed judging panel will be final and
binding. No disputes in this regard will be entertained .
Let your petals tell a story, your colors weave tradition, and your art bloom in unity.
2. Registration
● Prior registration is mandatory.
● Registration closes at 5:00 pm on 10 September 2025, or upon reaching the first 100 registered teams — whichever comes first. Once the limit of 100 teams is reached, registrations will automatically close
● A contributory donation of ₹1,000 per team of four members
3. Time & Venue
● Date of Competition : 12 September 2025
● Venue : Kochi Water Metro, Vyttila Hub
● Reporting Time at the Venue. : 7:00 am
● Competition Time : 8:00 am to 11:00 am
● Jury Evaluation : From 11:00 am onwards
● Result : 4 pm , 12 th September 2025
● Cultural Programs :11. 30 am to 12.30 pm
● Lunch Break : 12.30 to 1.30 pm
● Cultural Programs : 1.30 pm to 4 pm
● Prize Distribution : 5pm , 12 th September 2025
4. Judging Process
● The judging panel will evaluate entries after the completion of the competition .
● One team member must remain present to explain the meaning of theme to judges
● After evaluation of each Pookkalam , the member must leave the hall .

5. Prizes & Recognition
● 1st Prize: ₹50000
● 2nd Prize: ₹25,000
● 3rd Prize: ₹15,000
● Special Appreciation : ₹5,000 each will be given to 2 teams.

6. Guidelines
● Only registered members will be permitted (bring Aadhar Card)
● Pre-designed templates, ready-made sketches with tracing papers not permitted.
● Mobiles and smart watches are not permitted inside the hall during competition hours.
● Only the assigned CODE number of the team should be displayed near their Pookkalam .
● After completion of Pookkalam all team members , except one member for explaining the theme , must leave the Hall
● Designs that promote caste, religious, or political hatred are strictly prohibited.
● In the event of any disruption to the competition due to adverse weather conditions (such as wind, rain, etc.) or any inadvertent reasons, the committee will have the authority to take appropriate decisions.
7. Natural Flowers / Leaves Only Permitted
● Only natural flowers / leaves are permitted for making Pookkalam
● Sand , artificial coloring and colored materials etc. not allowed
8. Photography & Media
o No photo / video allowed till judgment is over
o By participating, you consent to the organizers photographing or video-recording the event for promotional or archival purposes
9. Results
● Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
● Results will be announced at the end of the event. No disputes in this
regard will be entertained
10. Refreshments
● Breakfast (for registered participants only) will be provided .
● Tea, coffee, and drinking water available at the venue.
11. Cultural Programs ( 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 4pm)
